Friday Five (Feb 29th)

At a loss for something to write, I rediscovered the friday 5.

  1. How and when did you learn to swim?
Not sure exactly, but I think it was in a pond somewhere near my house growing up. Or perhaps up in Parry Sound Ontario.
  2. How and when did you learn to drive?
I learned to drive like most, when I was 16 years old. I took a driving course, and got some lessons from my dad. I think I did pretty good, but I did fail my driving test. Twice.
  3. How and when did you learn to tie your shoelaces?
I’m still not very good at it.
  4. How and when did you learn to cook?
It’s an ongoing process, but I have enjoyed cooking for as long as I can remember. I used to like to cook chickens when my parents left me home alone.
  5. How and when did you learn to type?
I started learning when I was about 11 years old and my dad brought home a 40lb portable computer from work. I still don’t type properly, nut I get the job done.
