my girls

Both my girls are asleep, and I’m sitting here, so tired I’ve lost all sense of time. Tired, but I have no desire to sleep now. Basking in the peace and beauty of watching my girls rest from their busy couple of days.
I feel like I have to keep watch. Its not even like a choice. Its just what I instinctually must do, and emotionally want to.
I may not be making much sense, as I try to put into words this thing called fatherhood.
