As I am sure you’ve noticed by now, it’s probably redundant for me to say that I am in the midst of a site redesign.
Bear with me. 
Part of the redesign is cleaning up and reorganizing some backend stuff in order to make my site skinnable at some point in the future.
If things are wonky, or the new design makes you want to kill, let me know.
The standard disclaimer also applies: I’m colourblind, so if the colours really bite to your eyes, let me know.
I’ve changed the Webcam section on the sidebar to a random pick of images in my photoblog. Clicking on the image will take you to the permalink for the pictures entry, and hovering (in IE) will show the first 20 words of the photos description. Why? Just because…Note that the resolutions in the sidebar here are pretty low as I am using the photoblogs preexisting Thumbnails which are a little smaller than I like on this page.
Not only does it make me want to kill, it makes me want to take another hit of LSD. Damn Fire Breathing Dragons, they’re everywhere….Ahhhhh!!!!

I like the blue tones a lot, but the dark brown background doesn’t jive with blue, nor does it work well with the reds and yellows in your banner. A dark burgundy would add the contrast you have now with the brown, but would also cohere nicely with the other colours. A beige/kacki background might work really well too. I’ll post some colour hex values for you later since you’re colour blind.
