I’ve never been able to get thumbnails working with Moveable Type. But our ever so handy Firda just posted a link that explains how to get MT Thumbnailing working with NetPBM.
The instructions are very easy to follow, and it took all of about 5 minutes to get it working.
The instructions do mention running commands in your shell, but I just skipped those steps since they were just tests anyway. All you really need is an FTP program that lets you CHMOD your files.
The real test was uploading an image and seeing the resulting thumbnail image staring me in the face in all it’s glory.
