No matter how advanced technology gets, I hope there are always pieces of equipment that you can fix by giving them a swift smack or kick, giving the thumbs up and saying “Ehhhhhhh…” in a Fonz like manner.

I think that was one of the 10 Commandments wasn’t it? Or at least an unwritten rule somewhere. Page one of the Electronics Repair Guide. When in doubt give it a smack.
