1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not?
I am currently a computer nerd. (Aka technician) I build computers, fix computers, sell computers, etc…. I pretty much knew sice I was 12 that I would be doing something like this. It’s nice to have a job that is also your hobby.
2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be?
I’d love to be one of those little devils that sit on people’s shoulders and tell them to be bad. ![]()
3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices?
My mother has been making porcelain dolls for most of my life. She makes them in her house. (the house I grew up in always had hunderds of little eyes peering at me from all sides, ask Troy, it was wierd.) My dad is also a computer geek. He started programming on punch cards. This likely had much to do with my technical lifestyle.
4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family?
No, and at this point, I am starting to doubt that I will ever need to make that choice.
5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why?
Hard question. I don’t know all the jobs in the world. For me, the hardest job would be a surgeon. All the blood and such, the fear that if you fail, someone could die, not my idea of fun or easy. As for the easiest job…I don’t know…pillow tester?

I used to work in a shop that had a whole wall of those porcelain dolls for sale - it had to be the creepiest feeling, coming in in the morning and just KNOWING those dolls were looking at you! I swear, they used to get up to things at night when we were closed…ok this pretty much had nothing to do with your blog, but your comment about your mum making dolls reminded me! LOL..did it give you nightmares????

Not nightmares exactly, but I could NEVER bring myself to watch any sort of horror movie that involved satanic little dolls. 8^)
The doll shop was the first room you walked into when you entered the house. All the walls, and even the floor was covered in dolls. There was a streetlight in front of the house which shone in and gave the dolls eyes an eerie sort of glow…
I remember coming home late on occasion (Somewhat intoxicated at times, heh…) and practically running through that room…_
