1. What’s the last vivid dream that you remember having?
Last night. I was at a cottage. We were having a large family get together. We were waiting for an uncle to arrive from California. (I have no uncle in California) He finally showed up, but he showed up with news that a person we all knew had passed away. It kind of ruined the festive atmosphere. I spent the rest of the dream wandering the beach by the cottage.
2. Do you have any recurring dreams?
Everytime I have a fever or the flu, I have a dream that I am flying at unfathomable speeds in a fighter jet. It keeps doing barrel rolls and making me sick. It’s very vivid. There is another dream that goes with it, but it would take much more explaining, that will be blog fodder for another day. Both of these dreams happen everytime I get a fever, for as long as I can remember.
3. What’s the scariest nightmare you’ve ever had?
I remember running around a large condemned building, being chased by an unseen demon. Every direction I chose to go, ended up at the same old elevator shaft. Then the demon would push me in and I would fall for a long time. All would go black, my heart would leap, I would wake up excited and scared. This nightmare was scary because it was also recurring for that night only. I think it cycled about 5 times.
4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not?
I have written down a number of my dreams. Having a book available for writing them in beside the bed is cool. Sometimes I write a dream down in the book in the middle of the night and in the morning there is a new dream in the book that I don’t remember writing down. It’s groovy.
5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it?
I remember a character in my dream once told me that I was having a lucid dream. After that I wandered around turning creatures in the dream into other, stranger looking creatures. I have met that character on at least three other occasions. Each time he has told me that I was in the middle of a lucid dream, after he tells me, I gain control of the dream. (Somewhat)
